ARLINGTON, Tx – The fifth-ranked Diamond Hogs took the field at Globe Life Park in Arlington, TX, competing in the Amegy Bank College Baseball Series. The stands were packed with Razorback red as the weekend’s three-game series featured Kansas State, TCU, and Michigan. Thousands of fans made the trip to “Baum South” to cheer on their beloved Hogs. Saturday night saw record-breaking attendance, with an incredible 18,000 fans packing the stadium.
Aledo Local resident and lifelong Arkansas fan, Justin Meins, attended the event. Meins, raised in Stuttgart, Arkansas, is not only a Razorback fan and supporter but a University of Arkansas alum. “It’s awesome. I’ve attended the College Baseball Series the past two of three years, and every year it’s worth it,” said Meins. “I don’t get to travel to Fayetteville as much as I’d like, but I’m hoping that changes now that my son is a freshman at the university.”

Although Meins lives in Aledo, Texas, he doesn’t mind making the nearly 65-mile, 40-minute drive to Arlington for the series. When asked about the widespread passion of devoted Hog fans who follow the team, Meins stated, “It’s always a great feeling to be a part of or simply watch on TV and see the sea of Hog fans. It really seems to fire up the team to play for such a storied baseball program and dedicated supporters.”

As the weekend progressed and Diamond Hogs dominated the competition, the energy of Razorback fans created an electric atmosphere showcasing pride that stretched far beyond the borders of Arkansas.
For Meins and countless fans, the experience of cheering on their team in the heart of Texas was a reminder of why they’ll always follow the Razorbacks – no matter how far the journey takes them.
