Content from The Sports Reporter Collective is produced and provided by student journalists who, although are aspiring journalists, are journalists nevertheless. As such we will acknowledge both our triumphs as well as our setbacks.

Contructive Criticism

To help us be better at what we do, i.e. the business and practice of journalism, criticism that is constructive and pat on the backs and well to dos are both embraced when warranted. This interaction helps to keep us on our toes and finely tuned.

Fast Feedback

If published content and/or information is incorrect, PLEASE ALERT US ASAP! As a community news source we require interaction with the general public, our subscribers and the properly informed to bring any errors to our attention so that we can potentially avert the spread of misinformation. 

Proper Civility

Comments and posts on our site from the general public is generally protected under the freedom of speech, however, content that is lewd, rude or crude is not embraced. Please let us know if something needs to be remove or if the content is unbecoming of a professional journalists. The content will be reviewed and removed as soon as possible if warranted.

Here at The Sports Reporter Collective feedback from all viewpoints are encouraged, but we will not and cannot allow comments without attribution. True civility works in an open unshadowed environement. Comments and content help promote civil conversation and aggregate discourse on news topics and current events. This allows provides a foundation for those who are engaged to come to informed decisions and regulate their own thoughts and behaviors. The Sports Reporter Collective is primarily a sports news and entertainment site, however, rumor, gossip and slander are unwelcome and not tolerated.

Zero Tolerance

All comments will be moderated for civility, i.e. although your comment may not immediately appear, it will be reviewed as quickly as possible. Comments that incite violent or hostile behavior will not and never be tolerated. The comments will be removed and credible threats will be reported to law enforcement.
